Tessie was born to Barlow and Mary Ellen Brown She married Roscoe H. Mikels in 1911; he died February 8, 1952.
Survivors include a son William B. Mikels, West Terre Haute, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Poynter of Indianapolis, Mrs. Glenna Morrison of Greenwood and Mrs. Maxine Tillitson, Amhorst, Mass. Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
