Virginia Bailey
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Virginia Bailey, age 80, of Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away on Oct. 16, 2007.
Virginia was born Nov. 16, 1926, to Herman and Frieda (Erdmann) Haselbeck, who preceded her in death. A graduate of the University of Indiana, she taught elementary school for 20 years in the Tecumseh Public School System.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Max; three children--Ginger Carrick (Dexter) of Traverse City, Mich., William Edward Bailey of Kentwood, Mich., and Owen Herman Bailey (Tina) of Lake Orion, Mich.; four grandchildren - Darcia, Nathan, Jessica and Justine; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Keystone Community Church in Ada, Mich., on Oct. 27, at noon, with Pastor Gene DeJong officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
