WAXHAW -- Mr. Rogers, age 63, died Friday, January 14, 2005, at his residence with his daughter by his side.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2005, at Center Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Waxhaw, officiated by Pastor Bobby Taylor and Pastor Scott Couick. Interment will follow in the church cemetery in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Mr. Rogers was born in Union County, on July 21, 1941, a son of the late Warren Burris Rogers, Sr. and Elizabeth Melton Rogers. He was an electrician.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia 'Pat' Simpson Rogers of the home; one son, John Thomas Rogers of Monroe; three daughters, Wendy Rogers Anderson of the home, Veronica Rogers Anderson and Teresa Rogers McCoy, both of Monroe. There are eight grandchildren: Amber McCoy, Brandon Anderson, Sandy McCoy, Michael Rogers, Magan McCoy, Jessica Crowder, Keaton Anderson, and Sheyanne Anderson. Mr. Rogers was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angel Grace McCoy.
The family will receive friends Sunday night, January 16, 2005, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.

Davis Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mr. Rogers.
