FRANK A.POTTORF
Frank A. Pottorf, son of Jacob W. and Sarah Belle Pottorf was born on June 19, 1895 and departed this life on March 24, 1971.
He was born in Oskaloosa, Kansas and spent most of his life in that community.
He was a veteran of World War I and was a Past Commander of American Legion Post No. 36 of Oskaloosa. He was also a member of Oskaloosa Lodge No. 14 A.F. & A.M.; Oskaloosa Chapter No. 62, Order of the Eastern Star.
He was married to Dorothy Edwards of Oskaloosa on February 23, 1924, she survives him.
Other survivors are two sons, Harold Pottorf of Topeka and Marlin of Oskaloosa, and 5 grandchildren. Two brothers: George Pottorf, Oskaloosa; Fred Pottorf, Custer, S.D.; Two sisters; Mrs. Nellie Carr of Ottumwa, Iowa; Mrs. Ruth Fleming, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held March 26 at the Oskaloosa United Methodist Church. Hampton Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, was in charge of arrangements.
