He was a Boilermaker Helper for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. When that job was abolished he worked on the scrap dock until his retirement Nov 5 1963. When the Shops at Sedalia closed he had to take his early retirement and then went to work in the Maintenance department of Farm and Home retiring in 1971.
