Mrs. Mary Wade Nield, the nineteen-year-old wife of Mr. Marshall Nield, died Monday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wade, on the Quirk's Run road, near Nevada. She had been ill for some months with tuberculosis. She was married about a year ago and besides her young husband is survived by a baby a few weeks old, and also her parents, two sisters and two brothers, Miss Martha Wade, Mrs. M. Carter, Milton Wade and Major Wade, the latter of North Carolina. She was a lovely young girl who had a host of friends. Her funeral was at Salt River Baptist church, by Dr. W. L. Walker, of Danville, with burial in the cemetery near the church.
