Gerald D. Mock, 71, died, Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Hospice of Savannah with his loving family at his side. Born in Savannah on May 10, 1938 he was the son of the late, Beaurie and Mollie Pye Mock. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Terri Lynn Mock, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. He retired from the Chatham Area Transit System after 35 years of service and for the last 10 years work for Gray Line Tours. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy (Dot) Barrow Mock of Savannah; grandchildren, Tianna S. Parrish and husband Patrick of Savannah; great-grandchildren, Reagan May and Cameron Dean Parrish of Savannah; brothers, B.C. Mock of Uvalda, Hudman Mock, Mount Vernon; sisters, Jeanette Usher of Savannah, Shirley Brown of Leesburg, a host of nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 6-8 p.m., at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from the Chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home followed by interment with Military Honors in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
