Robert "Bob" James had a sawmill which he ran with his father John James on Second Creek in Lawrence County Tennessee. He worked with his father John James. When John James returned to Cullman, Bob and his wife moved to Cullman for a couple years, then moved to Lauderdale County, in the Whitehead community where he lived the remainder of his life and his descendants still reside.
