TENNESSEE, POCAHONTAS - Victor R. Bendall, 91, retired farmer and carpenter, died Saturday at Methodist Healthcare-Brownsville. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Selmer with burial in Sulphur Springs Cemetery there. He attended Woodland Baptist Church in Brownsville and was a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Bendall, the widower of Verble Head Bendall, leaves three daughters, Artie Short of Millington and Joan Mize and Faye Porch, both of Brownsville; a son, Edward Bendall of Stanton, and 17 grandchildren.
