Joseph Ellaxander Guice is my two great-grandfathers. His middle name is spelled Ellaxander.
Joseph Guice was married three times and I am a descendant of his first wife, Catherine Pace (married ca 1847). The first three children listed belonged to Catherine. Death certificates confirmed Catherine Pace as their mother. Catherine died in 1857.
Joseph married second Sarah Pace in 1858. Henderson County Marriage Index:
Guice, Joseph Ellaxander Sarah Pace 19 Aug 1858.
Sarah and Joseph had five children listed below
Sarah died in 1878.
Joseph married third Rebecca Evaline Heatherly (daughter of Solomon Heatherly and Elizabeth Parr Corn) in 1880. She had no children.
