Jerry was a self employed frame carpenter for over 40 years. He was last employed by Stephens and Smith Construction. Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by: his children, Lorelei Peters, and David (Shauna) Buettgenback; brother, Dale (Margaret) Buettgenback; sister, Phyllis Ellsworth; grandchildren, Chris Peters and David Michael Leuty; great-grandchild, Ryan C. Peters; four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew; former wife, Eleanor L. Jensen
