Julius F. Bergman, 73, of Bergman Road, Rt. 1, Yorkshire, died at 8:46 p.m. last Wednesday at Joint Township memorial Hospital where he had been admitted earlier in the day with a heart condition. The retired farmer was born on august 20, 1895 in the same area of Bergman Road, five miles west of Fort Loramie, where he had lived all his life. He was the son of Bernard and Elizabeth Schlater Bergman. On May 7, 1930 he married Catherine Seger. She survives with four children, Mrs. James (Eileen) Houser, Chamblee, Ga., Mrs. Thomas (Evelyn) Frantz, Rt. 3, Versailles; Edward and Alfred Bergman, both of Rt. 1, Yorkshire. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Bohman, St, Henry and Mrs. Chris (Henrietta) Steinebrunner, Dayton, and a brother, august Bergman of Rt. 1, Rossburg. Mr. Bergman was a member of the St. Michael Church, the Apostleship of Prayer, a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post No. 365, Fort Loramie. Services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael church, fort Loramie, with the Rev. A. Edwin Francis officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery
