Lucius married Margaret Jane"Maggie" Miller on Dec. 5, 1861 by County Judge R. Sowell in San Augustine, TX. Marriage Book, BK23a, page 41. She was the daughter of Mathew Simpson Miller and Nancy Parker.
They were the parents of: Benjamin F.(b.1864) - Mathew S. (b.1868)- Mollie(Sharp) (b.1871) - Margaret Jane(Johnson) (b.1874) - Kate(Wall) (b.1877) - Edna(Noble) (b.1881).
Lucius came to the Republic of Texas in late 1839 and settled in San Augustine county. He was a landowner, rancher, farmer and sawmill owner.
