Allen Hendrix Few, 87, of 4323 N. Old Highway 14, died Dec. 5, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenville county, son of the late Allen C. and Nancy Stokes Few, he was an Army veteran and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. He was retired from Southern Bleachery and Dobson Hardware.
Surviving are his wife, Vivian Sloan Few, of Greer; a son, Thomas Allen Few, of Greer; two sisters, Mildred Few and Obenia Robertson, both of Greer; two grandchildren, Tammy Petit, of Greenville, and Jason Few, of Greer; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Mark Smith.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of a sister: Mildred Few, 4307 North Old Highway 14, Greer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Association, Upstate SC Chapter Greenville Branch, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5300, Greenville, SC 29601.
