J. M. Branson, 91, of Marietta, died Saturday, June 6, 2009.
Graveside service, 11 a.m., Monday, at Mt. View Park Cemetery, Marietta, with Rev. Dr. Bill Ross officiating.
Mr. Branson worked at Southern Railway for forty four years. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby, growing tomatoes and roses, and photography. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marietta.
Mr. Branson is survived by his wife of seventy years, Ruth G. Branson, of Marietta; one daughter, Carol E. Branson of Marietta; several nieces and nephews.
Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 148 Church St., Marietta, GA 30060. Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory are handling the arrangements.
