Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Jack Westfall officiating. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where military rites will be observed.

Bill was born on April 12, 1933, in Upshur County, W.Va., to the late Fred and Nola (McKisic) Shobe, and married Ruth Burton on Aug. 8, 1964, in Orrville.
He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Bill worked as a maintenance man and boiler operator for the Koppers Company of Orrville for 30 years and was also a self-employed welder.
He enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Shobe; two sons, Joe Cox and Jim (Robin) Cox; four daughters, Diane (Robert) Parsons, Donna Shobe, Lynda Shobe and Jill Shobe, all of Orrville; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
