DAVID HERMAN CROCK LAMBERT, 50, of the Birdtown Community passed away Saturday November 15, 2008 at a Buncombe County Hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Cherokee, he was the son of the late David Eugene and Golinda Saunooke Lambert.
He is survived by-
2 Sons- Brandon Martin and his wife Natasha Swayney
and Justin Arch both from Cherokee
1 Daughter- Tasheena Martin and her husband Adrian Garcia of Cherokee
9 Grandchildren
1 Sister- Susie Brady of Cherokee
4 Brothers- Robert C. Bigmeat

Several nieces and nephews also survive as well as his grandmother Margaret Ratliff
Funeral Services will be Thursday 2:00PM at Yellowhill Baptist Church with the Revs. Russ Bradley and James BO Parris officiating. Burial will be in Birdtown Cemetery. The body will be brought back to the Church 5:00 PM Wednesday to await the service hour and for the family to receive friends.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Brady, Dusty Daniel Brady, Steven Eugene Brady, David Samuel Brady, George Martin, Bill Locust, Tom Saunooke and Justin Arch
