FORT WORTH - Matthew 25:23 "The Master said, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant ... let's celebrate together'." Deborah Louise Hall, 55, our precious mother and prayer warrior, a Wednesday watchman, a woman of wisdom and best friend to a multitude, went home to live with her heavenly Father Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at her home. For it is said in 2 Timothy 2:11, "If we die with Him, we will also live with Him."

Memorial service: 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney Memorial Bible Church, 3901 S. Hulen in Fort Worth. Private burial: Rocky Top Ranch.

Memorials: Union Gospel Mission, 1331 E. Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76113 or H.O.P.E. Farms, 865 Atlanta, Fort Worth, Texas 76104.

Pallbearers: Alan Davenport, Roy Gene Evans, Rob Farrell, Pat Hawkins, Denver Moore, John Ott, Glen Petta and Scott Walker.

Deborah was born to Rupert and Virginia Short on July 14, 1945, in San Antonio, but spent most of her childhood in Snyder with her dearly loved sisters, Daphene, her twin, and Gretchen. She graduated from TCU, where she met and married our father, Ron Hall, in 1969. Our parents began their life in Fort Worth where we (Carson and Regan) were born. Later, we moved to Dallas for 11 years and then returned to Fort Worth. Many of our favorite memories with Mom were built at Rocky Top Ranch, our home away from home in Palo Pinto County.

All the while, the Lord was at work in Deborah's life, as she obediently prayed for and ministered to anyone within reach. People recognized her gift of wisdom and heart for the Lord, often going to her for counsel. She gave of herself unselfishly and anonymously. Her latest joy was found in the Union Gospel Mission, where she spent many blessed moments sharing her heart with others, praying for them every night by name. Jesus has shown us the power of prayer in our mother's steadfast prayer life which continued to grow even as she suffered with cancer. Heaven has been bombarded with prayers for Deborah.

Thank you dear friends and family. Thank you Alan and Mary Ellen Davenport. Thank you Wednesday Watchmen, MightyMen and Buckaroos. Thank you Vitas Hospice. Glory be to God! We are a family "velcroed at the heart," blessed beyond belief and infinitely grateful that God has chosen us to share our lives with this amazing woman!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert and Virginia Short.

Survivors: Husband of 31 years, Ron Hall of Fort Worth; daughter, Regan Hall of Dallas; son, Carson Hall of New York; sisters, Daphene Jones, Gretchen Molmen; in-laws, Earl and Tommye Hall; four nieces; two nephews; and six god-children.
