Rev. William Wills Skaggs, 83-year-old Baptist minister who had seen about 50 years service with the church, died Thursday night at his home at Ansted. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2pm at the Ansted Baptist church, with Rev. John W. Bragg and Rev. C. E. Walker officiating, Burial will be in Westlake cemetery at Ansted. The Hooper mortuary of Montgomery will take the body to the home Saturday at 11am. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Grace Skaggs; five daughters, Mrs. Mollie Blair and Mrs. Marcelle Gill of Ansted, Mrs. Dollie Fox of Victor, Mrs. Wren Fox of Lucas and Mrs. Wanda Augabright of Glen Jean and five sons, Chalmer Skaggs, Vaughan Skaggs and Clay Skaggs of Ansted, Edward Skaggs of South Charleston and Weston Skaggs of Edmond.
