LAWRENCE HARRISON BOWSER, of Williamsburg, R. D., died this morning at the Nason hospital in Roaring Spring. He was a son of Jacob C. and Anna Kel Bowser and was born at Spruce Hollow, Bedford county, Aug. 11, 1889. He was united in marriage with Orpha Clapper at Loysburg on Feb. 21, 1914, who survives, with seven children, Eugene, Kenneth H,, Mrs. Mabel Shimer and Mrs. Victoria Griffith, all of Martinsburg, R. D., Cpl. Dennis L., with the armed forces in Belgium, Bruce R., and Doris I,, at home and these brothers and sisters: Albert, in Minnesota, Harry of Mansfield, O., George of Baltimore, Md., and Elmer and William and Mrs. May Cloughly, all of Detroit, Mich., and eleven grandchildren. He was a member of the Brethren in Christ church in Martinsburg. Mr. Bowser was a farmer and was also employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company.
