Greer - Nov. 25. - NEWTON McCAIN NEAL, 64, salesman for the Bahan Textile Machinery Co., and resident of Greer for the past 10 years, died at a Greenville hospital today after an illness of five months. Mr. NEAL was born near Reidville in Spartanburg County and prior to moving to Greer made his home in Forest City, NC. He was the son of the late T. P. and Mrs. ALICE BROWN NEAL, and had been with the Bahan Textile Machinery Co., for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, who is the former NANCY CLAYTON; two daughters, Mrs. H. L. NUNNALY of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. T. D. VAUGHN of Newport News, VA; one son, J. D. NEAL of Rockingham, NC; two brothers, WILL NEAL of Route 2 Woodruff, and DENNIS NEAL of Iva; three sisters, Mrs. FANNIE PEARSON and Mrs. J. P. HALLMAN, both of Spartanburg, and Mrs. L. D. EPTON of Inman, SC; and six grandchildren. Mr. NEAL was a member of the Sharon Methodist Church.
