Mrs. Bessie Mae Herron, 73, of 315 Graham St., died Thursday afternoon at Pulaski, Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Wytheville in 1884; the daughter of the late Henry and Virginia Burnette Kesling and preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Jackson Herron. She is survived by two sons, William H. Herron and James Samuel Herron, both of Pulaski; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Waller, of Wytheville; also, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. from the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the pastor, the Rev. C.J. Peyton, officiating. Interment will follow in Thornspring cemetery. The body will remain at Thomas M. Seagle and Sons Funeral Home until Saturday morning when it will be taken to the residence to remain until one hour before services.
