Boyne City - services for Mrs. Emma B. Bennett, 72 who died Friday at Lockwood General Hospital, will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Methodist church at Boyne Falls. Elder B. J. Furst will be in charge and burial will be in Boyne Valley cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was born at Hersey, Mich., March 10, 1883. She came to Boyne Falls about 1936.
Surviving are the husband, William; two sons, Lawrence of Flint and Norman of Monterey, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Lester Walton of Flint, Mrs. Claude Slocum of Traverse City and Mrs. Andrew Morgan [Lillian] of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three brothers, Clyde Goff of Ada, Francis of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Frank of Midland; four sisters, Mrs. William Jones of Detroit, Mrs. Vess Eurick of Anderson, Ind., Mrs. Peter Kelly of Detroit and Mrs. Max Hartshorn; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Stackus Funeral Home where friends may call until about 11 a.m. Sunday.
