Mrs. Reba Elise Franks Carter, age 72, a resident of Doyle passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at her residence.
She was born March 19, 1935 in White County, Tennessee to the late Doughty Lee and Mattie Neomoia Luna Franks.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: Ricky Haston,
2 sisters: Martha Ralston & Rilda Hudson, and
2 Brothers: Jimmy Dale Franks and Terry Franks.
She is survived by 3 Daughters: Janice Haston of Doyle, Theresa Ware of Bone Cave, and Marilyn Cunningham of McMinnville,
3 Step-children: Phillip Carter of McMinnville, Dwight Carter of Walling, and Cindy Martin of McMinnville,
1 Brother: Ronald Dean Franks of Shelby, North Carolina,
1 Sister: Sue Lewis of McMinnville,
4 Grandchildren: Paul McCormick, Jodi Lawson, Becky Collins, and Jeanna Morton along with
8 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.
Funeral Service will be Friday, April 27, 2007 at in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Bro. John Murphy and Bro. Terry Jolley will officiate the service.
