Mr. Love was born in Indiana and had been a longtime Kern County resident. Prior to coming to Bakersfield, he had lived in Miles City, Montana.
He was last employed for 25 years as a switchman for Southern Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1969.
Officiating will be the Rev. Bud Frye. Survivors include two sons, William I. Love of Hanford and Jack Love of Bakersfield; one daughter, Winifred Murobayashi of Long Beach; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Gjemse of Washington; Four brothers, Charles and John of Montana, Lee of Tennessee and Paul of Washington.
