MR. HANCE DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Mr. Mathias Hance, aged 78 years, passed away at his home in Cookstown
on Friday afternoon. Although Mr. Hance had been in poor healthfor serveral
years, he was only sick in bed for a few days prior to his death. Besides his
wife, Ella, he is survived by one son, Benjamin Hance, and two daughters, Mrs.
Alice Stillwell and Mrs. Arthur Johnson.
Funeral services were held on Monday from the home of his son, Benjamin
Hance, with interment at the Jacobstown Cemetery in charge of funeral director,
H. Stanley Earnest, of Bordentown.
