Martha C. Wyrick Hubbs married Oliver Hubbs on 10 Jan. 1889 in Union County. She was his second wife. Oliver first married Martha B. Sharp Hubbs on 5 Aug 1871 in Union County. It is recorded by some researchers that Martha B. was b. abt. 1846 died bet. 1882-1889. Her burial location is unknown (don sanford)

Apparently Oliver Hubbs' first wife's name was not Sharp, but rather Acuff. On Ancestry.com, there is apparently a transcription error on the record that links to Vital Check, where you can order a copy of the orginal record, and that transcription says Sharp. However, Ancestry also allows access to the handwritten record, and it has Acuff as the name, same date, Union Co, Tn. I'm going to post a copy on the memorial for a bit but please RSVP me when you get a chance, as I can't leave this document up there. I just wanted you to see it yourself.
