He married Alice "Pauline" Baxter, daughter of Lyle Ancil Baxter 1894 – 1943 and Cora May Matlock 1893 – 1974
He was a B-17 pilot stationed in England. He flew his 35 missions over Germany and returned with everything intact. He told me a few things that happened, but like all WWll survivors, he didn't want to talk very much about it.
He was a pilot in the armed forces and flew a bomber during WWII. He joined the service in 1942 and they lived in various places in the states, Europe, and Newfoundland. They retired from the service and built a house in Sequim, Washington.
They had no children.
