Larry graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1976. He loved all athletic sports and could be seen Sundays cheering for his favorite team. He worked as a chauffeur for various limousine services. He was well known for his great sense of humor and he had a very close bond with his son.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son Juwan Anthony Taylor, five brothers Authur Taylor of Fredricksburg, VA., Devaughan, Floyd, Ralph and wife Elsie, and Donald Taylor all of Charlottesville, VA., and three sisters Carolyn Thompkins, Joyce Taylor of Charlottesville, VA, Charlene Jones of Harrisonburg, VA., and two special friends Bonnie Ragland and David Starks of Charlottesville, VA and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Zion Union Baptist with Rev. Lloyd Crosby Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Piedmont for their support and outstanding care.
