Charles L Ruppert, 61, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at his home. He was the husband of Dixie Ruppert. The couple observed their 45th wedding anniversary November 15th.
Born May 16, 1941 in Dover, a son of Bessie (Anderson) Ruppert of Dover and the late Mervin W. Ruppert.
Mr. Ruppert had worked in the maintenance department of Motor Technology, York for seven years.
He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Ruppert is also survived by three sons; two daughters; four grandsons; 10 granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a great-granddughter; two brothers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Sterling Ruppert and great-grandson, Austin W. Kellison.
The viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4th at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. The funeral service will begin 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Manchester Union Cemetery. Rev. Thomas A. Gilman of Manchester Assembly of God will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charles L. Ruppert Memorial Fund, c/o Community Bank, 155 Glen Drive, Manchester, PA 17345.
