JOSEPHSON – Dorothy Mae, 88, South Fork, died April 23, 2009, at Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg. Born June 3, 1920, in Croyle Township, daughter of Henry J. and Bertha M. (Lee) Meier. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Glenn E. Josephson, who died Oct. 14, 1967; infant daughter, Mary Louise; sons, Glenn H. and Raymond E. "Trout"; son-in-law, Thomas Dunmire; sister, Ethel Kubovcik; and brothers, Raymond, Eugene, George, Richard and David "Pedro." Survived by children: Elsie, wife of Gary Reighard, Mount Hope, with whom she resided for several years; Bertha, wife of Ray Witprachtiger, Plymouth, Calif.; Sandra Dunmire, Mount Hope; James, married to Mary Ann (Domidica), Sidman; and Robert, married to Cathy (Dorin), Salix; daughter-in-law, Jean Josephson, Lewistown; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; brother, Robert, married to Dolores (Krouse), Beaverdale; sister, Nancy, wife of William Tomak, Johnstown; sister-in-law, Virginia (Mathis) Meier, Johnstown; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, South Fork, for 57 years, where she worked and served on various boards for many years. She worked for many people in the South Fork area and she belonged to the South Fork Elderberries Group. Dorothy will be missed by all of her family and friends. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork. Viewing also at Wesley United Methodist Church one hour prior to funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Arlene Bobrowicz, officiating. Interment, South Fork Cemetery.
