NEWPORT NEWS - Robert W. Seabron passed away on Thursday, April 16.
He was born on May 25, 1958, to the late Norris Seabron and Mary Seabron Wyche. He was a graduate of Warwick High and received his BA degree from Norfolk State University.
Robert was a resident of Mesquite, Texas, and worked for Dallas County as a Probation Officer. During his tenure there he was recipient of the Employee of the Year Award in 2002.
He was an outstanding musician and and a gifted baritone soloist.
He is survived by his son, Quinton of Mesquite, Texas; his stepfather, Robert Wyche; a sister, Robin Byrdsong of Newport News; three brothers, the Rev. Gerald Seabron of San Antonio, Texas, the Rev. Garry Seabron and Roderick Wyche of Newport News. There is also a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Homegoing services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at St. Johns Church, 2416 Orcutt Ave., Newport News.
