Born on May 24, 1929, in Fermanagh Twp., Juniata County, a daughter of the late Reed and Miriam (Moore-Gilfillen) Wetzler.
Her husband, Wilmer S. Graybill, whom she married June 26, 1948, preceded her in death on October 3, 1982.
Surviving are her children: Alvin Graybill and his wife Rita, of Richfield, Sandra Padlo of Mifflinburg, Brenda Renno and her husband Roger, of R.R. #1, McAlisterville, one brother Harold Wetzler and his wife Betty, of Liverpool, and she leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Walter, Erica Graybill, Alex Graybill and his wife Becky, Adam Graybill, Ryan Renno and Lisa Renno and five great-grandchildren, Brady Walter, Landon Walter, Connor Walter, Myna Graybill and Ryland Graybill .
Preceding her in death were three brothers, Alden Wetzler, Donald Wetzler, Samuel Wetzler and three sisters, Esther Reichenbach, Shirley Campbell and Janice Clay.
Mrs. Graybill was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Richfield where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.
In addition to being a homemaker, Joyce worked as a seamstress for Leonard's Garment Factory, Mt. Pleasant Mills and the Richfield Shirt Factory until her retirement in 1995.
Joyce's interests included sewing, baking, canning, playing the piano, and tending to her garden.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from St. John's Lutheran Church, Richfield, with the Rev. Andrew Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Richfield Union Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at the church.
