RICHARD L. HATCHER, 62, died at 5:50 p.m. Nov. 4, 2004, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 16, 1942, in Hardin County to Paul Richard and Freda June Shark Hatcher, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 3, 1966, in Virginia, he married Julia Ann Wright, who survives.

Mr. Hatcher retired from HBD, Bellefontaine, and had worked at International Car, Kenton, for 15 years. He was a member of Quickstep Pentecostal Church. He was an Army veteran.

Survivors also include two sons, Ricky Lynn Hatcher of Dayton and Terry Wayne (Christine) Hatcher of Lima; three grandchildren, Tianna Marie Hatcher, Sierra Nicole Hatcher and Caleb Wayne Hoskins; three brothers, Duane (Marie) Hatcher of Lakeview, Ronald (Charlotte) Hatcher of Cookeville, Tenn., and Steven Hatcher of North Hollywood, Calif.; and a sister, Darlene (Joe) Palmer of Lehigh Acres, Fla.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Crabtree and Paula Jean Hatcher.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Hebert Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Seig Cemetery, with military rites by AMVETS Post 1994.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
