LORIS | Mr. Byron Davis Paul Sr., 47, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Paul was born April 17, 1958 in Loris, a son of the late George M. Paul Sr. and the late Sadie Louise Durant Paul. He was of the Primitive Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, April Lenora Paul of Winthrop University in Rock Hill; one son, Byron Davis Paul Jr. of Loris; the mother of his children, Kathy Sessions of Florence; three brothers, George M. Paul Jr. and his wife, Betty, of Aynor, Henry Stancel Paul and his wife, Gail, of Loris, and Lawrence Taylor Paul and his wife, Priscilla, of Aynor; two sisters, Mary Louise Paul Rabon and her husband, Donald, of Loris and Linda Paul Rabon and her husband, Charlie, of Lexington; two aunts, Alice Durant Paul of Loris and Elise Durant Sansbury of Aynor; and several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Wednesday night at Ward Funeral Home in Loris.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2006 from Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, with the Rev. Stancel Paul and the Rev. George Paul officiating.

Ward Funeral Home of Loris is serving the family.
