David Santford Wisehart, 79, of Everton, died at 2:35pm Thursday in Springfield General Osteopathic Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.

He was a construction lineman, a secretary of the Everton Masonic Lodge #405 for fourteen years, past patron of the Everton Chapter #514 OES and a member of the American Legion Post #414. He was also a member of the Everton Presbyterian Church and a WWI Navy veteran.

Services for David Wisehart will be 2:30pm Sunday in the Birch Chapel with Rev. Larry Malaney officiating.
Burial will be in Ray Springs cemetery, southwest of Everton.

Survivors include his wife, Maurine, of the home; two daughters, Betty Lou Dwyer of Lawton, OK. and Jane Bradbury of San Bernadino, CA; three sons, Billy of Springfield, Jack of Everton and David C. of Jacksonville, FL; one step-daughter, Mrs. Phil Ridge of Greenview, IL; two step-sons, Charles Stone of Bremerton, WA and Robert Stone of San Bernadino, CA; one brother, Wm R. Wisehart of Everton; one sister, Edna Stamate of Everton; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
