Mose J. Fox, Jr.
Mose James Fox, Jr., 66, 124 Victory Lane, Lot 2, Elizabethton, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 in the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Mose James Fox, Sr. and Lillie Fox.
He was a retired construction worker.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Lynn Fox; a son, Robert Lee Fox; a sister, Verna Barba and a brother, James M. Fox.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Barbara Sue Jones Fox; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann and Richard Smithdeal and Sandra Marie and Tony Wilson, all of Elizabethton; one son, Thomas James Fox, Elizabethton; a sister and brother-in-law, Rethia and Darrell Walsh, Elizabethton; four grandchildren, April McPeak, James Smithdeal, Kacie Wilson and Kenzie Wilson, and a great grandson, Tristan Smithdeal. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2004 in the Fellowship Community Church followed by a covered dish dinner in the fellowship hall of the church. Pastor Ken Hauser will be officiating. Music will be provided by the congregation. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Fox to the Bus Fund of Fellowship Community Church. It was his wish to be cremated.
