Joseph N. Corcoran. On April 4, 2009, Joseph Nicholas Corcoran, age 76, passed away. Born and raised in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Mr. Corcoran has been a resident of Cherry Hill, NJ. Mr. Corcoran retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 20 years of service and then worked for the Garden State Racetrack in Cherry Hill until its closing as their security director. Joseph is the beloved husband of Rose M. (nee Despres) and the son of the late Francis and Mary (nee Driscoll) Corcoran. He is the devoted father of Mark, Candace, Joel, Patrick and the late Mary. He is also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his sister, Mary Niose. Joseph was predeceased by three brothers, Francis, John and Robert and his sister, Elizabeth. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Wednesday morning at 11:30 AM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ. Interment following at Brig. General Doyle's Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Lungevity Foundation at lungevity.org or Vitas Hospice, 521 Fellowship Road, Suite 110, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Arrangements by the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Cherry Hill.
