Marshall B. Cline enlisted in 1942 with the 53rd Engineers. He became a First Lieutenant with the 17th Armored Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Division during World War Two. He fought in Africa, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He was injured and permanently disabeld during the Berlin Occupation. He earned the Bronze Star and the Belgium fourrage and 5 batlle stars.
