Mrs. Gourley was born March 18, 1930, in Wray, Colo. She had resided in Van Buren since moving here from St. Louis in 1993. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening, watching old movies and loved Frank Sinatra.
She was married to Donald Hugh Gourley in Mountain Grove.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Garris of Somerville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. tonight at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Van Buren. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel with the Rev. Dorothy Schenks officiating. Burial will follow in the Van Buren City Cemetery.
