James E. Collett, 72, of 3613 Bradley St., died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral was to be today at 2 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home chapel with Edward Glover officiating.
Burial was to be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Collett; seven sons, Buddy Collett, Tommy Collett, Leroy Collett, Eugene Collett, Harold Collett, Freddie Collett and Paul Collett; five daughters, Joyce Le Pier, Mrs. Edith Cloud, Mrs. Margaret Sweeton, Mrs. Nancy McCrary and Mrs. Freida Byrd; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Boyanton; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
