Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie Crow, 89, pioneer Wagoner County resident who died last Friday, January 19, 1951, after a lengthy illness, were held Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. in the service room of the Hersman Funeral Home. She was born August 30, 1861. Rev. A. S. Cameron and Rev. Robert L. Burns conducted the service and burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Crow came to Wagoner when she was about 15 year of age and married the Late George W. Crow. She has lived in and around Wagoner for the past 75 years. She and her husband were pioneers of the Indian Territory and Wagoner County. Mrs. Crow was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Zoe Hill, with whom she made her home; two sons, Fay and Vernie Crow, both of Wagoner; one sister, Mrs. Winona Thompson.
Pallbearers were Walter Sleeper, Frank Brown, Lester Foutch, Cliff Zachary and Chester Zachary and A. C. Miller.
