Buren Hershel Bridges, 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Posey Buren and Addie Champion Bridges. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Biddix Bridges and two brothers, H.D. Bridges and Harrill Bridges.
He was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He loved woodworking and dogs.
Graveside services will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
