She was a dedicated member of The First Baptist Church of Cedartown. Mrs. Freeman was a loyal member of the Cedartown Daffodil Club.
Mrs. Virginia Freeman is survived by husband, Darroll Freeman; children, Dale Freeman and Rick Hall, Reed and Debbie Freeman; grandchildren, Molly and Jason Jordan and John Freeman and Fianceé Ali Kimberl; Great granddaughter, Caroline Shadden Jordan. Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Dan and Linda Reed, Garrett and Reba Reed, Stanley and Sandra Reed, James and Sheila Reed, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by parents, William Elmer Reed and Mollie Garrett Reed.
The funeral service for Mrs. Virginia Reed Freeman will be conducted on Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Dr. David Taylor, Rev. Wayne Benefield, and Rev. Jon Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 1st, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Freeman's nephews, Scott Reed, Larry Beecham, Bill Reckner, Jeff Henderson, Mickey Maddox, Bill Reed, Greg Reed, Jon Reed, Kevin Reed,Ken Wilson, and Josh Reed.
