Mrs. Irma Dean Smith was born on Monday, March 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Sherman and Bertha Nora Ross Wilkins.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the family residence at the age of 76 years 11 months and 3 days.
She was born in Cash and had lived in Trumann since 1965. Mrs. Smith was retired from Parker-Hannifin Corp and a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church of Trumann.
She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and her parents.
Survivors include one daughter, Deb Smith of Trumann; three sons, Charles "Chuck" Smith, Kevin Smith and Bryan Smith all of Trumann; one sister, Lueda Beck of Killeen, TX; One brother Jack Wilkins of Franklin, IN; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Rick Forbis and Rev. Boyd Hosman officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro with arrangements under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Pallbearers will be Larry Mills, John Paul Thompson, Beau Ballard, Butch Davis, Shannon Smith, Kevin Beaumont and David Rogers.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Pentecostal Church on Smith Street in Trumann.
