Mr. Lemons had lived in Essex and Dexter all his life. He was a cabinet maker and had retired from W. W. Wood Products in Dudley.
On May 9, 1992, he was married to Terrie Haynes in Essex.
Surviving are his wife, Terrie Lemons of Dexter; one son, Terry Michael Lemons of Bloomfield; two daughters, Patti Shell of Dexter and Sherri Cookson of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Ralph Lemons of Tulsa, Okla., Danny Lemons of Bloomfield, and Terry Lemons of Burton, Mich.; and one sister, Ruth Hargrove of Wappapello. Other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, after 10 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. James Malloy of Essex officiating.
Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
