Frank Yeager, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Elder Township, died at his home about two miles from this place on Thursday morn of last week. Deceased was born in Germany on March 1, 1828. He came to this country as a young man and was united in marriage with Miss Helena Woodley, locating on his farm in Elder Twownship where he resided until his death. Besides his wife, he is survived by 8 children as follows: Conrad; Andrew; Kate, wife of Adam Hass; Margaret, wife of John Born; and Mary, wife of Thad Thomas, all of Elder Township; George, Patton; Frank, Harrisburg; and Rose, wife of Frank J. Hoover, Hastings. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock at St. Boniface Church. Burial at St. Boniface.
