MRS. ELIZABETH McCLAIN
Final rites for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McClain, 74, of Rt. 2, Waynesboro were conducted March 13 at 2 o'clock from Ray's Chapel with Rev. Thomas Roper Jr. officiating. Burial was in Griggs Cemetery with Middle Tennessee Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. McClain died March 12 at Wayne County General Hospital.
She was a native of Wayne County, a daughter of Phillip and Louella Howe Brust. She had been a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Russell A. McClain; four sons, Calvin of Tacoma, Wash., James and Arley of Rt. 2, Waynesboro and Edward McClain of Toledo, Ohio; two half-brothers, Clarence Rose of Toledo, Ohio and Basil Brust of St. Louis, Mo., four half-sisters, Mrs. Eula Reeves, Mrs. Minnie Fowler. Mrs. Thelma Skelton all of Waynesboro and Mrs. Lavern Russell of Arkansas; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
