Scott Anthony Wilt, 19, Roaring Spring, died unexpectedly Monday morning. He was born in Altoona, son of David L. Wilt and Carmen L. Detwiler. Surviving are his parents: David of Roaring Spring and Carmen of Gallitzin; two brothers and a sister: Christopher L., Benjamin T. and Brandis L., all of Roaring Spring; paternal grandparents: Sharon and Kenneth Wilt; maternal grandparents: Ruby Albright and husband, Denny (Scott was raised in their home), and George Detwiler and wife, Rose; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousins Ashley Grace Piper and Katelyn Piper; and many, many friends. Scott was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. He was employed at Fox's Pizza, Martinsburg, and McDonald's, Ebensburg, and previously had been employed at Rhodes Meat Market, Martinsburg. He was a 2008 graduate of Central High School. He enjoyed playing Xbox video games with his friends, fishing and playing basketball. He was a member of the Garvey Memorial YMCA, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday by Pastor Dottie Steele and Dr. David Crumrine. Interment will be made at Holsinger Cemetery, Bakers Summit. Contributions in Scott's memory may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society. Arrangements are by Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring, Pa.
