LeEtta A. Weber, 51, Altoona, died early Friday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus, after a brief illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Elwood A. and Florence C. (Helsel) Rhodes. She married Thomas G. Weber Jr. July 24, 1999, in Altoona. Surviving are her husband; a son, Don P. Wertz Jr. and his wife, Tara, of Altoona; two grandchildren: Dorian and Ariana Wertz, both of Altoona; a step-grandson, Allen Becker of Altoona; a brother, Charles M. "Mickey" Rhodes of Altoona; and two sisters: Ruth Ann Ecklund in California and Donna K. Yonkosky of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a sister, Verna G. Antes. LeEtta was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area High School, where she was a member of the ROTC. She retired in 2007 from the Jewelry Department of J.C. Penney Co. after 17 years of service. She was a member of First Church of Christ, Juniata Gap. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, Pastor John Collins officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Church of Christ, Juniata Gap and Good Shepherd Roads, Altoona, PA 16601.
